		<description>I&#039;m so, so sorry to hear about your friend&#039;s daughter. As someone who has lost a child I can honestly say that the best thing you can hear is, &quot;I&#039;m sorry&quot;. No other words really helped us as much as those. 

And, of course, stay connected. Send them e-mails or cards in the months to come, and let them know you&#039;re still there and not afraid of their sorrow - or the people they will become after their loss.

Just knowing that you&#039;re there and not going anywhere will mean the world to them.
