The biopsy is done and over with. YAY!!
So she told me everything looked swollen but good. This is good and bad. It’s great because I don’t want anything to be wrong, but it sucks because there IS something wrong and I just want to know what. That doesn’t mean that nothing was found it just wasn’t seen with the naked eye. We await the pathologist. My GI suspects one of 2 things, the same 2 things I keep saying. Celiac Disease, or a Non Celiac Gluten Intolerance (NCGS or NCGI).
My always low blood pressure hit an all time rock bottom while I was there. No matter what they did they couldn’t get my blood pressure to go above 62/58. After 3 hours it did eventually go up to 86/58 but it was short lived. They planned on admitting me but for whatever reason I was still sent home. She is concerned about the stress of all of this on my body. If the results come back as Celiac then this is likely part of the autoimmune reaction. If it’s NCGS then it may be part of a bigger puzzle. That scares me as whatever this is has already ruptured an organ on me.
So while I was *hoping* to walk away Friday with an answer I ended up with more questions.

small steps. ((((HUGS))))
