I’m not sure if I can say my weekend was good or bad? It could go either way I suppose.

My good friend B decided that I don’t go out enough. She’s right, the last time I went to a bar was well over 2 years ago and I was a designated driver. Well B took me out. We went bar hopping. I pumped ahead for Hubby to feed Thing 2, went out and had a great time, came home at 4am and did a pump and dump (which is depressing to watch the liquid gold go down the sink) then slept until 2pm. I soooooooooooooooooo needed that!!

On the bad side I have sick kids. Thing 2 isn’t too bad but Thing 1 is a mess. Thing 1 made Dad stay in his room all night last night. There was no where for Hubby to sleep and Thing 1 seemed to have a radar if Hubby tried to leave. Hubby still went to work today but I’m not so sure how exactly he’s functioning.

Monday is normally the day Mommy gets a break and Thing 1 gets his kid fix. He didn’t get to go to daycare today so we’ll aim for Wednesday. I love the break (no offence Thing 1) and I just can’t offer him the social aspect that other kids can.
