We took Thing 1 to the pool today. He is quite the swimmer. He has no fear of anything including swimming. He jumps off the edge, goes down the slide, kicks his legs and even goes under water. Here are a couple photos;

Shortly after I took these he was going under water but took in a little water. He coughed so Hubby sat him on the edge and Thing 1 said “I’m ok“. Despite his declaration he barfed. The lifeguard had to stop public swim, give everyone a pass for a free swim next time (we refused ours since it was our son) and kick everyone out.

I can only laugh at this… only my kid would do that.
