Words can’t even begin to describe the fear I had today. Let me start off by saying that everything is fine now.

Thing 1 is watching a movie sitting on his stuffed chair. I took advantage of the time by doing stuff around the house. I was out of the room and I heard him cry. I come back into the room figuring he stubbed a toe or something and there was blood EVERYWHERE and spraying, yes spraying out of the back of his head. I put pressure on it and held it (and let me say holding a screaming toddler still is not fun) until it stopped bleeding. Then we both stripped down and jumped in the tub. Our living room looked like a murder scene.

What happened is he decided to try reclining his chair and cranked his head on a table. The cut was very tiny but heads bleed a LOT!! We lost an outfit of his and pajamas of mine. The carpet was scrubbed and I think is ok now but I though I was going to have a heart attack.

Just to warn all of you who read this, if you see a lot of blood coming from your child’s head, it may not be a big cut at all so do not panic!
