Thing 1 is a very busy boy. At pretty much any given moment he is running off somewhere and getting into trouble. As exhausting as it can be I admire his adventurous side. I would give anything to not feel any fear. He explores everything and it just amazes me watching him and seeing the world through his eyes.

Hubby was away in Calgary with work this past week. The week prior my family was here. Everyone left at the same time. I think Thing 1 missed everyone because he became really cuddly after everyone left. That is very unlike him. He has been sitting on my lap and having ‘conversations’ with me for longs periods of time.

His speech has taking an amazing turn too. He still babbles but out of nowhere he’ll say a sentence as clear as day. FINALLY!!

As for my grieving I don’t do that well. I tend to become very stoic and pretend as if nothing is wrong. I’m not sure why I do this because I don’t think it works very well. I have been crying to every TV show I’ve seen in the last week. I am not normally a crier at all. I think I need to finally open up about my feelings or this is going to start eating at me.
