We are visiting my parents right now. So far all has gone better than I thought. We flew out Thursday morning and we had to wake the boys up at 4 in the morning. Thing 1 was all excited and found every excuse to get out of his room and didn’t settle down until 2. We though he’d be a bear when we woke him up but he wasn’t. Both boys were wonderful on the flight. Thing 1 thought it was the best!! He has flown before but not since his first birthday. Thing 2 slept the entire time. Once we landed in Winnipeg we had to drive another 3 hours but we eventually got here.

Thing 1 is having a ball with his cousins. Tonight he went skating out front on the ice and even feel asleep in his dinner.

Yesterday Thing 2 got the old snip snip. I feel bad doing it at six weeks old but at home the wait was much longer. Why they don’t do it right in the hospital is beyond me. He’s healing well and doesn’t seem all that bothered by it.

Last but not least I need to shout a big old “What the Hell?” I am 6 weeks post pardem, on the pill again and exclusively breastfeeding but despite all that the old hag showed up today.
