Thing 1 turned 2 today. Mommy is so sentimental. I swear when his 40th birthday comes around I’ll still be sad that he’s getting older.

We went to Chuck E Cheese and had a ball! He was in heaven. Hubby, his sister and her boyfriend were equally in heaven… as was I. It’s so nice to feel little again. He was wild by the end of night being so overtired.

We also had an ultrasound today. Can you believe it, baby is actually measuring AHEAD!!! S/he’s only a couple of days ahead but still ahead. This does not by any means we are out of the woods but it is a giant relief. After all the fears we had and almost losing Thing 1 it is nice to have even one day of feeling safe.
