The other day I had a really bad day. I did post about it but decided to pull it because I really do not feel like being reminded of how I was feeling at that moment. Despite all that a friend of mine was in town so we met up with her at a mega mall near us and went for lunch with our boys. It really made my day feel a lot better and brought me out of my slump. When it was time to go she asked if I would follow her out to her car as she made us a gift for our new addition. She is so crafty, I’m jealous. She made us a diaper cake!!!!

Later in the evening Hubby took a 26 week belly shot for me. The shirt is a little baggy in the photo so hopefully you can see the little belly. I believe I’ve ranted before about the difficulties in finding maternity clothes for petite people.

Today I was scheduled for an ultrasound. We wanted to check the placenta as well as growth. THANK GOD it was for today as I’d be freaking out waiting for one if it hadn’t. A few hours before the Ultrasound was scheduled I needed to pee. I wiped and saw blood. It is still happening now but only when I wipe. I called my OBGYN and she said since I am feeling movement to go to the Ultrasound, have them phone her when I’m there and we’ll take it from there. The Ultrasound shows my cervix is all good and she can’t see any apparent reason for this bleeding. What a relief. Thing 2 is no longer measuring ahead but he isn’t necessarily behind either. He is back a few days but within a range to be considered normal. I still worry but that is wonderful news.

As of now I am waiting to hear back from my OBGYN as to what to do about this bleeding. I suspect it will be to take it easy on the couch for a few days unless it doesn’t stop. I really hope it ends up being nothing but regardless I want to know what it is that’s causing this. I suspected the previa but unless I wasn’t told it doesn’t appear to be over the cervix anymore so who knows.
