Pregnancy wise it was a blah appointment which is GREAT because it’s been awhile. I have officially surpassed in measurements what I was when I delivered Thing 1. I’m measuring bang on when I never went over 30 with Thing 1.

I had my long Glucose Tolerance test this morning too. I didn’t realize it’s more than one blood draw for that. They get you at a few different intervals. It doesn’t really matter I was just surprised and now have sore arms.

Now my Kidneys are a whole other story. When my antibiotics finished I became sick again. The problem with this is even though the dipstick showed that something wrong, my urine came back clean for infection. I have been retested but am awaiting results still. The lab had to have screwed up or something because there is no way the dipstick should keep saying positive if it’s fine. My family Doctor passed the buck on the my OBGYN saying this has to be something pregnancy related. My OBGYN isn’t very impressed with him and I don’t blame her as neither am I. She agrees that something is going on. If it turns out I have an infection or not doesn’t make a giant difference. I either do which makes us wonder why it won’t go away, or I don’t and something is causing the pain. She is going to send me for a kidney and bladder ultrasound to check for stones. She’s great for this since this doesn’t have anything to do with why she’s treating me. With all my bitching about getting in to see her initially, I am glad I waited it out because she rocks! Another possibility is it is pregnancy related but it isn’t likely. I am officially bigger than I ever have been and it is technically possible the Thing 2 is just happening to put pressure on the right spot causing urinary tract spasms. This is very very very unlikely but we can’t rule it out either. We really aren’t sure how to proceed so I pretty much have to live with this for the time being. She also is angry that my family doctor suggested the spotting was likely related to this, she does not agree with this one bit.
